Emerging from the clubs of Chicago, the juke and footwork scenes have proved to have an international influence.
London based imprint Hyperdub have been notable champions of the scene, establishing a particularly potent relationship with the pioneering DJ Rashad.
Tragically, DJ Rashad died earlier this year. Working with the Tek Life crew, Hyperdub are set to release new compilation 'Next Life' with all proceeds being donated to Rashad's young son.

Matched to some quickfire visuals, the accompanying video pits footage of footwork dancers against – ahem – the kush of the title.
