Desert Sound Colony – ‘Cracks In My Soul’

Blissful yet fractured electronics...

Desert Sound Colony are aptly named – the project seems content to hive itself away from London's electronic community, to exist on its own terms.

New EP 'Cracks In My Soul' is out now via Scissor & Thread, three tracks of enraptured, fractured electronics.

There are shades of the darker moments in Boards Of Canada's catalogue, while the shadowy electronics recall Pantha Du Prince, say, or even Four Tet earlier, glitch-heavy moments.

New video 'Cracks In My Soul' matches the group's music to oddly gritty visuals with a DIY feel. Honing in on the macabre of the everyday and how technology seems to both unique and divide us all, you can check it out below.
