Music has a natural setting.
For some bands, performing in a tight, sweaty club is the place to really allow their songs to breathe. For others, only the most grandiose of arenas will do.
Death Rattle though, favour something a little more sparse. The London duo specialise in dark, noir-shaded pop music – flushed with electronics and eerie, other-worldly special effects.
Deciding to shoot a live session, the pair secured the use of a crypt. A place where acoustics are designed to favour the dead, the results are imposing, and uniquely effecting.
'In Time' is all pistol-crack percussion and mournful vocals, with Death Rattle providing a rare intensity. Magnify that by favouring a place of the dead and you have something quite difficult to shake off…
Watch it now.
