Death Grips may be out of view, but that doesn't mean the Sacramento collective aren't planning their next step.
Currently operating without a label following their split with Epic, Death Grips uploaded a new video over the weekend. Last year the band assembled 'NO LOVE DEEP WEB' during a two month stint in Chateau Marmont, and it seems that Death Grips focussed on visual output as well as their music.
The opening track on their second album, 'Come Up And Get Me' has been matched to a lengthy black and white promo. Largely silent, the strikingly shot clip was directed by Zach Hill and Stefan Burnett themselves. Puzzling, abstract and ultimately engrossing the video opens with nine minutes of silence before 'Come Up And Get Me' comes roaring out of the speakers.
Watch it now.
