It's David Bowie – he can do what he likes.

Conventional wisdom would hold that a big release should be accompanied by a big campaign. A record company should set aside a massive pile of money, distributing it across press companies, radio pluggers and more.

However 'The Next Day' isn't quite following this path. Arriving almost unannounced, Bowie has followed his own unconventional path showing scant disregard for standard modes of creating a fuss.

Last night (February 24th) the iconic artist unveiled his latest video. Featuring David Bowie in a prominent role, the clip also features award winning Scottish actress Tilda Swinton.
