Clash Premiere: House Of Black Lanterns – You, Me, Metropolis

New sounds from the man formerly known as King Cannibal...

Big fans of this, already…

House Of Black Lanterns is the new musical moniker for Dylan Richards, who readers may recognise from his work under the name King Cannibal.

The debut HOBL album, the out-next-week 'Kill The Lights', is also the first full-length release from Fabric's new label, Houndstooth.

To mark this beautiful new dawn of all things beats and bass, Clash can here present an exclusive video: for the album track 'You, Me, Metropolis'.

Says Richards of his new project: “House Of Black Lanterns is firstly about suspense, space and depth. It’s more restrained than anything I have worked on before; that threat of violence is buried deep in texture rather than worn outwardly on my sleeve.”

See what you make of the track by checking it out above. 'Kill The Lights' is released on May 6th.
