In one fell swoop, CHVRCHES went from cult curiosity to blog hype.
'The Mother We Share' is a beautifully wrought piece of melodramatic pop, the sort of thing The Human League would dearly love to have in their back catalogue. Sadly for Phil Oakey, though, it doesn't belong to him – it belongs to CHVRCHES.
The band's calling card, 'The Mother We Share' will be given a full single release on September 16th.
