Charismatic Megafauna Share New Video ‘Sorry’

Underground party music with a political slant...

London's DIY scene wants to party hard.

Priced out and sent to the margins, however, they're doing it in the only way they know how, a politicised, dress up 'n' play act of rebellion.

How else do you explain a band like Charismatic Megafauna? Drawing from a similar well to SHOPPING and channelling everyone from Prince to FKA twigs, this is a searing, fascinating blend.

Debut album 'Semi Regular' is incoming (pre-order LINK), with the trio shooting a video for blast out cut 'Sorry'.

The title refers to the fawning, barely serious 'apologies' issued by the likes of Donald Trump, with the band's Jenny Moore commenting: “It’s a kind of in-joke, but all of the women in the room get it…”

Video director Alexis Dirks says of the production process: "There is so much theatre in the way Charismatic Megafauna performs, that I thought capturing some of the process of their costume, hair and makeup decisions would be a nice visual pairing with their music – seeing the transformation as they become their performing selves, and a group."

Shot in the band's own performance space, it captures the incessant naughtiness that channels Charismatic Megafauna.
