On the face of it, Casiokids aren’t the most likely pop phenomenon. Yet a series of singles on Moshi Moshi have demonstrated an ability to produce an addictive melody, a track which refuses to leave your heads for days nay weeks on end.
Finally knuckling down to produce that all important debut album, Casiokids will release ‘Aabenbaringen Over Aaskammen’ on January 23rd.
Before then, though, the Norwegian bunch have decided to give ‘Det Haster!’ a full single outing. Typically irresistible, the track matches clattering post-punk guitar to squealing vocals – you might not understand the language but you will definitely recognise what Casiokids are going on about…
