Scottish seven-piece Broken Records have been bubbling just below the surface of the mainstream for a year now, their emotionally weighty and texturally rich works winning fans whenever they play live. But this summer they’ll take that next step: it’s debut album time.
And ClashMusic.com has been invited to take a look behind the scenes of the band’s recording process, as they prepare their first-ever long-player for release via acclaimed indie stable 4AD. Join us as we see the workings of the Edinburgh band’s sure-to-be-brilliant record in all their black-and-white glory.
This film was shot and edited by the band at Mannow Valley studio, Monmouth. The album ‘Until The Earth Begins To Part’ is scheduled for a June 1 release, preceded by a single of the same name on May 11.
The band’s live performances aren’t to be missed, so between now and the release of their album, get yourself along to one of these shows…
