Despite the immediate access of the internet, music can still take time to travel across the Atlantic.
Brasstronaut are a case in point. An epic, sweeping collective debut album 'Mount Chimera' won widespread critical approval in their homeland but struggled to dent the stubborn British music scene.
Out now in UK, follow up record 'Mean Sun' is – if anything – an improvement on the promise of their debut album. Winning over fans across North America, the album finally gained a full British release at the end of last year.
To coincide, Brasstronaut have confirmed plans for a one off UK show. Taking place in London on April 24th, the band will tread the boards at the Lexington – previously the home of Clash Magazine's much loved issue launch parties.

Alongside this, the Canadian group have unveiled a new video. 'Bounce' is typically stirring, with the songwriting gently tugging at your heartstrings before the orchestration lifts the song up into the stratosphere.
