There is an art to swearing, a geometry to cursing.
It's not simply a matter of packing as many swear words into a sentence – for the greatest effective, there's need to be a percussive, brutal edge. Something which is certainly evident in Blue Daisy's work.
While there's always been a darkness to his productions, the London artist has recently entered some extremely blunt territory. New release 'Used To Give A Fuck' is an explosive blast at the artist's own apathy.
A litany of swear words, insults and four letter salutes, you suspect that beneath the bravado of 'Used To Give A Fuck' is someone who most definitely does give a fuck.
The video for the track features Blue Daisy leering towards the camera, his face obscured by a warped, demented mask.
