Not a word often flung in Liam Gallagher's direction, but the group's new single 'Second Bite Of The Apple' has a seductive, coy edge.
Perhaps its that opening drum beat, cribbed from Ringo Starr's off-beat less-is-more dictum. Perhaps its those horns, leading the track to new level after new level.
Or maybe it's Liam Gallagher himself, with the singer's finest vocal performance in some time intoning lyrics of young love, empowerment and progress.
