But rarely dark. Beach House returned earlier this year, with 'Bloom' representing a stunning career high. Toasting the release with some sensational shows, the group seem able to refine, define, pursue their sound further with each album.
Aside from the sighing vocals and blurred guitar lines, though, the band's visual element has been keenly adapted. Now a clip for album cut 'Wild' has emerged. Intense, brooding and menacing, the short film was directed by filmmaker Johan Renck who teases the viewer towards a fraught, violent climax.
