Alt-pop futurist Ashnikko has shared new single ‘Cheerleader’.
Out now, the single is an absolute bulldozer, grappling with a feeling of infinite youth and freedom. The release leads in to her debut album, with long-awaited LP ‘Weedkiller’ set to land on August 25th.
The new project follows her outstanding 2021 release ‘Demidevil’, and will be accompanied by a massive headline tour – including a night at London’s Alexandra Palace.

Directed by Joanna Nordahl, the video for ‘Cheerleader’ nods to cinematic classic Bring It On, while also dipping into folklore – there are hints of Midsommar in its curiously intense atmosphere.
