Wither goest thou, AC/DC, in the forests of the night?
For a moment there, it looked as though the Australian rockers were doomed.
Founding guitarist Malcolm Young confirmed his retirement due to ill health, while drummer Phil Rudd was arrested on charges including plotting to murder two people.
Yet this is a band which thrives on adversity. Phil Rudd was released after only 24 hours, the charges much diminished, while Malcolm Young's authority still lingers over each chord on new album 'Rock Or Bust'.
The titanic title track has been given the video treatment, featuring AC/DC facing off against fans in what looks to be a fighting arena. It's a blood curdling stuff, with Angus Young wrenching out another foot stomping, lung bursting riff.
In keeping with their rock solid boogie roots, 'Rock Or Bust' is a triumphant statement of defiance: "in rock we trust…"
