A-Trak & Zinc’s first collaborative effort ‘Stingray’ dropped onto dancefloors at the end of 2011 and it’s combination of jail break sirens and depth charged bass meant it got played on constant rotation at parties and raves throughout this year.
In the build up to their performance at this year’s Notting Hill Carnival the duo hooked up with dancehall vocalist Natalie Storm to give the track a raggaeton infused workover and the result is ‘Like The Dancefloor’.
The video was shot during the carnival, splicing together footage of their performance along with Natalie having a boogie and a whole crowd of colourful characters as they partied at the Major Lazer-curated Red Bull Music Academy Stage.
Turns out horns, bass, whistles and a hook is the perfect Carnival cocktail.
‘Like The Dancefloor’ is out October 16th via Fools Gold & Rinse.
