The British festival season adds to its litany of disaster after the Zoo8 festival was engulfed in chaos throughout the weekend.
The festival suffered heavily due to call offs, with headliners such as Dizzee Rascal and Athlete all pulling out – with many claiming the organizers were unable to pay them. To make matters worse, amy fans are alleging that on-site staff left the festival due to pay complaints, leaving portaloos unemptied over the weekend.
Zoo8 was held next to Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, and was heavily criticized by fans for extensive queues to get into the site. To make matters worse, the festivals second stage was close on Friday and Sunday when the centre pole became unstable.
In the end, festival goers were entertained by Ash, The Cribs and more – with Lethal Bizzle replacing the absent Dizzee Rascal on Friday.
