Indie-pop troupe Your Twenties have announced the release of their second single ‘Billionaires’, due out on September 7th.
Produced by Stephen Street (former knob-twiddler for both The Smiths and Blur), ‘Billionaires’ is bright, breezy and boasts what could prove to be one of the catchiest choruses of the summer – don’t be surprised if you’re still humming it come November!
Debut single ‘Caught Wheel’ received rave reviews at the tail end of last year and the sun-kissed pop of ‘Billionaires’ is set to win the band yet more praise.
Released on September 7th via Neon Gold Records, the single, will be available on limited 7” vinyl and features original artwork by the band.
Fronted by former Metronomy man Gabriel Stebbing, who left the electro poppers to devote his time to Your Twenties, the band have recently played the influential Durr club in Paris, gathering even more admirers across the Channel.
Your Twenties will play two London shows within two days next month, starting at The Borderline on 10th and The Scala on 12th September.
