Central London’s stunning Wireless festival is set to return this year, and has added such sterling talent as The Streets and Paul Oakenfold to its bill.
Taking over Hyde Park on July 4th, Wireless proves it really is independence day with its unique line up and atmosphere. Basement Jaxx have already been announced as headliners, with the legendary dance pair playing a rare festival date.
Joining the ‘Red Alert’ crew will be Brummie poet of the people The Streets. Last year’s album ‘Everything Is Borrowed’ was a typically reflective blend of garage beats, and the group remain a stunning live act.
Also on the bill are superstar team up NASA, the hotly tipped Frankmusic and New York’s Fischerspooner.
Once the darlings of the electroclash scene, Fischerspooner have fallen on hard times but with a new album on the way the band could be set for a renaissance.
Also due to play the one day event is Tommy Sparks and UK hip hop don Dizzee Rascal.
