Indie rock duo Foxygen recently underwent something of a reinvention. The pair — comprised of songwriting duo Sam France and Jonathan Rado — released third album ‘Hang’ in January this year, opting for a grandiose sound that swept up a 40-plus orchestra in its midst, not to mention Matthew E. White, the Lemon Twigs, and Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips.
The American psych crew went all glam maximalism and touched upon genres as diverse as funk and folk, which makes them an extremely fun act to catch live.
As one stop on their ‘Hang’ tour, they’re set to hit Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre on April 8th for an all ages show— playing alongside Gabriella Cohen and Kingdom of Not.
We’re giving a lucky Clash reader a pair of tickets to see them in action. To win, simply tell us the name of the album the duo have released this year.
What is the name of Foxygen’s 2017 album?
