Wild Nothing Extend British Tour

'Golden Haze' due for release

American dream pop outfit Wild Nothing have extended their forthcoming European tour.

Wild Nothing have proved to be one of the year’s most evocative word of mouth success stories. A solo project for Jack Tatum, the songwriter drew from a palette including The Cure, dream pop and arch shoegaze group Ride.

Releasing their debut album earlier this year through Slumberland, Wild Nothing had every reason to expect the record to sink without trace. However as the rave reviews piled in something strange happened.

The album’s themes of nostalgia, longing for childhood and a melancholic sense of loss seemed to strike a chord with fans. Wild Nothing became an enduring success, even forming a permanent touring band.

Collecting some offcuts from their debut album, Wild Nothing are preparing to release their new EP ‘Golden Haze’ on October 5th. An epilogue of sorts to their full length effort, ‘Golden Haze’ makes perfect sense in the early Autumn sunshine.

To coincide with the release of the new EP Wild Nothing have confirmed a new European tour. Containing some all important British dates, the shows open in Brighton on November 5th.

Elsewhere, Wild Nothing are due to play shows in Sheffield, Manchester and Glasgow before ending the short tour in London’s Cargo venue.

Set to travel to the continent, the American group will see out the year with performances across Europe. Tickets for the tour are on sale now!

Wild Nothing have confirmed the following shows:

November
5 Brighton Jam
6 Camber Sands Weekender
7 Sheffield Harley
8 Manchester Deaf Institute
9 Glasgow Arches
10 Leeds Brudenell Social Club
11 London Cargo
