Berkley beat-folk mashers Why? are set to hit the UK this summer for two live shows, stopping off in London and Brighton.
Formed from the ashes of cLOUDDEAD and Apogee, Yoni Wolf and Adam Drucker aka Why? are rumoured to have met after a chance encounter at an Art Of Sex seminar.
After a string of E.P.’s and singles, Why?’s critically acclaimed ‘Alopecia’ saw them concocting a bolt-from-the-blue mash of indie, folk and towering hip hop beats last year (read what Emmy The Great thinks of it HERE).
Now a trio after Matt Meldon recently upped-sticks and moved to Seattle, the group have been putting the finishing touches to album number four, before embarking on a full European tour throughout the summer.
Following-up the ‘Alopecia LP’, the groups next effort is set for release in October on Tomlab Records (you can also read our full interview with leader Yoni Wolf on Clash Music HERE).
