Breakthrough indie rockers White Rabbits have confirmed a new single ahead of a British tour.
Hailing from New York, White Rabbits returned with their second album earlier this year. A mixture of assured songcraft and propulsive rhythms, ‘It’s Frightening’ was a surprise word of mouth success.
Buoyed by warm reviews the band toured extensively throughout Spring, enjoying success on both sides of the Atlantic. Lead single ‘Percussion Gun’ broke the Top 40 in the States, with some celebratory shows finding White Rabbits playing bigger and bigger venues.
Eager to begin working on their third album, White Rabbits are set to take time off later this year. Secluding themselves away, the band plan to spend time crafting new material after completing their latest tour.
Before then, though, White Rabbits aim to release one final single from their breakthrough album. ‘The Salesman (Tramp Life)’ is due to be released on September 13th, taken from ‘It’s Frightening’.
A typically unrelenting slice of indie rock, the track will be released as part of a 2 track download with ‘They Done Wrong/We Done Wrong (Live At The ICA)’.
After the release of the single White Rabbits will kick off a final tour. The band have been invited to support Muse at Wembley Stadium, the New Yorkers’ largest show to date by a considerable margin.
Headline dates in England follow before one final appearance at London’s Troxy venue on September 15th as part of the Campfire Trails festival. After this, White Rabbits aim to pack up their equipment and head to the rehearsal room to begin work on their eagerly awaited third album.
