The FIB Heineken Benicassim festival has expanded its bill adding gloomy Londoners White Lies, Friendly Fires, Boys Noize and more.
Set in the sunshine of Barcelona, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Benicassim is completely removed from the wet and windy world of British events.
Current headliners include Oasis, Paul Weller, Kings Of Leon and Franz Ferdinand, proving that the event can compete with any across Europe.
Benicassim is now backed by Vince Power, who founded the Mean Fiddler promotion group and started The Hop Farm festival. Witha wealth of experience behind him, Power has turned Benicassim into one of Europe’s premiere events.
Joining the festivities will be hot new London group White Lies. The band released their debut album ‘To Lose My Life’ earlier this year, flying into the charts at number one.
Also on the bill are shoegaze trio Friendly Fires, reformed new wave group Psychedelic Furs and German techno guru Boys Noize.
Benicassim takes place in Barcelona between July 16th – 19th.
