We Were Promised Jetpacks have announced a batch of Scottish tour dates this summer.
We Were Promised Jetpacks are famed for their live show. Oh sure, on record the Edinburgh outfit can cut it with the best of them, as evidenced by last year’s ‘In The Pit Of The Stomach’ set.
But in concert, the visceral edge to the band’s music becomes apparent. We Were Promised Jetpacks are currently preparing to fly out to SXSW for another whirlwind week, but this hasn’t stopped them confirming plans for another tour.
Hitting Scotland, We Were Promised Jetpacks open the tour in Dundee on May 23rd. Hitting the city’s Doghouse venue, the tour then drops past Aberdeen, Inverness and Dunfermline.
Not quite reaching their hometown of Edinburgh, the tour ends with a one off visit to Coatbridge venue the Soundwave Studios.
