We Were Promised Jetpacks have extended their upcoming British tour to include some December dates.
Bursting out of Edinburgh, We Were Promised Jetpacks’ debut album was a rare delight. Matching occasionally dark lyrics with some edgy riffs, the Edinburgh group showed a rare promise.
Second album ‘In The Pit Of The Stomach’ follows almost immediately on from their debut. Set to be released on October 3rd, We Were Promised Jetpacks previewed new material on recent British shows.
Upcoming dates will follow the release of the new album, with shows confirmed in Leeds, Brighton and their hometown of Edinburgh. Playing the city’s Liquid Rooms on October 6th, the band will also visit London on October 12th.
Ending in Manchester, the band will then take a short break before heading back out on the road. We Were Promised Jetpacks will launch the second leg of the tour with a show in Newcastle on December 3rd.
Taking place in the city’s Cluny venue, the tour continues with shows in Birmingham, Norwich, Nottingham, Bristol and more.
Hitting Dublin on December 8th, the band will return to the UK for a show in Liverpool before the tour wraps up. Finishing in Glasgow’s ABC, We Were Promised Jetpacks will have plenty of surprises up their sleeves for the final show.
