Waxahatchee has been forced to cancel a number of upcoming European shows.
The singer was due to perform at Wichita's 15th birthday party tomorrow (29th) before joining Kurt Vile as support on his forthcoming tour.
Sadly, these shows will not now take place. In a posting on Facebook the American artist explained:
"I'm very disappointed to announce that I will be unable to perform at the shows I have scheduled in Europe coming up. I've been having some health issues that are affecting my voice and have been put on strict and immediate vocal rest. I hate canceling shows and I'm hoping to make it up to everyone soon."
The Wichita show has now been cancelled – refunds are available at point of purchase.
