Watch: Kasabian In A Jumbo Jet

“This will go down in history" they claim

New footage has emerge of Kasabian’s recent intimate show inside a Jumbo jet.

Say what you like about Kasabian, but even their biggest detractors can’t deny the power of the band’s live show. Sheer fun from start to finish, few bands can energise a crowd containing thousands of people from thousands of different backgrounds.

Preparing to release their new album ‘Velociraptor!’ the band were invited to play a secret show in their hometown. Returning to Leicester, Kasabian performed inside a Jumbo jet to an audience of just 200 people.

In typically modest style, Tom Meighan said: “This will go down in history. We wanted to do something really memorable – and our fans are going to remember the day they saw us play in an aeroplane when they’re old and grey.”

Organised by VEVO, fans were driven from the Kings Power Stadium, Leicester City Football Club to the nearby Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome, where they were enjoyed a hog roast, before watching Kasabian perform tracks on board the plane – sounds like a good deal to us!

Containing material from their new album, Kasabian blasted out the tracks during one of their most intimate shows for some time.
