Walls and The Field are set to hook up for a number of joint tour dates later this month.
A German label, Kompakt have risen to gain an international roster. The imprint soaks up talent from almost every continent, and if Antarctica had an electronic scene Kompakt would be the first on hand.
Responsible for two of the year’s stand out electronic albums, Kompakt are now set to bring together the acts involved. Walls returned with ‘Coracle’ which was a layered, considered update on their acclaimed debut.
The Field, meanwhile, delivered a brooding, meditative new album in the form of ‘Looping State Of Mind’. Drawn together by Kompakt, the two acts will join forces for a series of special tour dates.
Beginning in Ireland, the pair will play a number of joint shows which end with a visit to ATP at Minehead. To celebrate, Kompakt are giving away a remix of The Field’s ‘Leave It’ courtesy of (you guessed it) – Walls.

The Field and Walls will open the tour with a show in Cork on November 17th, before playing shows in Galway and Dublin. Hitting the UK, the two groups will unite for dates in Liverpool, Manchester and London before the shows end in Minehead.
