Charity project V have launched a new scheme to allow a few lucky fans to see the festivals they want – for free!
Festival season – nice on the ears, pretty bad on the bank balance. After forking out cash to get in through the gates, fans have to pay for their tent, food and of course plenty of beer. Don’t forget the beer.
Going to one is expensive enough, but when you look at the events taking place across Britain this summer it’s difficult to narrow it down. Charity organisation V have stepped in to launch a new scheme which would allow fans to see the festival they want for free.
Yep, V are set to head out across the country and want to take you with them. The charity are planning to set up stall at numerous festivals this summer, and you could be able to tag along.
Festivals agreeing to take part include T4 on the Beach and V Festival with more yet to be confirmed. Aimed at those who missed out or simply can’t afford tickets, V’s scheme could help you have the summer of your dreams.
To stand a chance of winning, you just have to give up a little time for V Inspired. The charity are looking for young, enthusiastic people to work for just four hours a day during the festival – the rest of the time you can clear off and do your own thing.
Talents you could potentially offer include – music, photography, dance, film and more. The whole idea is to show that volunteering isn’t the boring old chore that people think it is.
Set to open soon, V’s competition could led to some interesting opportunities for fans across the country.
