Veronica Falls November Tour

Cloud Nothings first UK visit

Fast rising indie pop quartet Veronica Falls are set to tour the UK throughout November.

With the United States spewing forth indie pop gems by the dozen, you could be forgiven for thinking that Britain was set to be overrun. However on a new tour the British scene could be set to give our Stateside cousins a run for their money.

London based quartet Veronica Falls have made waves this year, releasing two sought after singles. The band’s latest three minute nugget is ‘Beachy Head’ available through the cult imprint No Pain In Pop.

With a full length debut scheduled for 2011, Veronica Falls have suddenly become the name to drop. Support slots with Teenage Fanclub and The Drums have exposed the band to new audiences, and an upcoming tour pits them against a Cleveland newcomer.

Signed to Wichita, Cloud Nothings pen fuzzy tales of life in the indie rock underground. Real name Dylan Baldi, the songwriter removes cliched song elements to leave something sparse yet melodic.

The new dates have been organised to follow from the release of Cloud Nothings debut album. Meanwhile, Veronica Falls aim to complete a trio of singles with a new release – more on this as the details are confirmed.

The tour opens in Brighton on November 6th, before moving around the country. The pair will perform in Glasgow’s Captains Rest venue on November 10th, with Veronica Falls departing the tour the night after.

Playing a handful of headline shows, Veronica Falls are set to see out 2010 with a short trip to Italy.
