With the credit crunch closing in around the festival season, fans have been quick to snap up tickets for V Festival with the Chelmsford leg selling out in only two hours.
Spread over two sites, V Festival is one of the biggest events of the summer. This year the event has scored a coup in its line up with headline performances expected from Las Vegas giants The Killers.
Joining the American group are Manchester legends Oasis, playing one of a very selective band of festival slots. Joining the Gallaghers & Co. are Fatboy Slim, Lily Allen and many more.
Tickets for the Chelmsford leg of the event went on sale this morning (March 6th) and sold out in two hours – only coach packages remain. Very few tickets for the Weston Park leg are still available.
“We’re really pleased that despite these uncertain times V Festival has clearly been embraced once again by music fans looking for a great weekend of entertainment,” said festival director Bob Angus.
“It’s a fantastic endorsement of the format of the festival and the strength of this year’s bands set to perform.”
V Festival takes place between August 22nd – 23rd.
