UK Live Award 2023 Winners Announced Including The O2, KOKO, Live Nation & The Boileroom Guildford

The UK live music industry came together last night for the second annual LIVE Awards to celebrate outstanding talent and achievements across the sector in 2023.  

LIVE welcomed 600 representatives from every corner of the sector at iconic venue Troxy, East London, with an event hosted by comedian Thanyia Moore.

The LIVE Awards brings together the whole live music industry to celebrate the venues, promoters, festivals, and others who have led the way in 2023. Decided by a panel of industry experts, the 15 awards highlighted the successes and accomplishments of companies and individuals across the entirety of the UK live music scene.

Last night’s award winners included The O2 for the LIVE Green Award. Live Nation took home the National Promoter of the Year Award, KOKO claimed the Venue Of The Year Award while the Grassroots Champion Award went to The Boileroom, Guildford.  

The evening ended with the awarding of the LIVEtime Achievement Award to the legendary promoter Phil Bowdery. Tributes on the night came from superstars including Tom Jones, Stevie Wonder, Dame Shirley Bassey, Michael Ball and more.

Proceeds from the night help to fund LIVE’s ongoing work as it continues to champion the live music industry’s interests with policy makers, regulators, the public, and the wider music and entertainment industries. 

The awards ceremony takes place annually and continues to celebrate outstanding achievements in sustainability credentials, marketing prowess and regional performance, to ensure that the very best of the industry is rightly recognised.
