Two Door Cinema Club 2010 UK Tour

Dance rockers near blast off!

British dance rockers Two Door Cinema Club are set to open 2010 with a lengthy British tour.

Northern Ireland has spawned more than its fair share of great acts. From Van Morrisson to Snow Patrol the nation has spewed out musical talents, with Two Door Cinema Club potentially being the next great act to emerge from Norn Iron.

Hailing from Bangor, Two Door Cinema Club blend together a dizzying array of influences. Rock, electro and afrobeat are all put into the mix as the band attempt to craft some tasty beats.

Debut single ‘I Can Talk’ was released earlier this year, with Two Door Cinema Club being snapped up by uber hip French label Kitsune. Reaching a much wider audience, the Kitsune package tour was one of Autumn’s live music highlights.

Together with Delphic, Two Door Cinema Club scored a trail across the nation. The pair have received an almost instant reward, with both acts reaching the long list of the BBC Sound Of 2010 poll.

Currently beginning work on their eagerly awaited debut album, Two Door Cinema Club have now confirmed a lengthy British tour.

Opening on March 9th in Bristol, the band will travel across the country playing a huge number of shows. One of their biggest live jaunts to date, Two Door Cinema Club will no doubt be scorching ear drums near you.

Two Door Cinema Club are set to play the following shows:

March
9 Bristol Thekla
10 Leeds Cockpit
11 Sheffield Academy
12 York Fibbers
14 Glasgow King Tuts
15 Newcastle The Other Rooms
17 Birmingham Academy 2
