German’s Melt! Festival has been confirmed for 2008, offering a host of musical talent….. in a mine!
The festival has perhaps Europe’s most unique setting, set within the confines of a mine on the Ferropolis peninsula. In a short space of time the Melt! festival has established itself as a renowned event, with Hot Chip releasing live recordings from last year’s set.
This summer’s event boasts an all-star line up including Bjork, Franz Ferdinand, Editors and The Gossip, as well as many more acts play across the festival’s six stages.
For the first time this year’s event will take place across three days.
The Melt Festival takes place between July 18th – 20th.
