Clash team arrived safe and well and ahead of time in Austin, Texas, yesterday. The same can’t be said for The Pan I Am’s Ed Larrikin who was on our Atlantic crossing flight, but missed his Austin connection and was spotted looking rather glum in Dallas airport.
Last night, after registering and picking up our Thurston Moore designed delegate bags, we retired to the Southern gothic classical interior of The Driskill Hotel for dinner, before attempting to see The Ting Tings, hitting Buffalo Billiards for a game of shuffleboard, then caught The Duke Spirit live and moseyed on down to La Zona Rosa to see Yeasayers before
collapsing exhausted in our own hotel.
Plans for today have yet to transpire – it’s the Clash event tonight, so no doubt lots of work in preparation.
