Ting Tings Pack Out T

Thousands Queue For Manc Group

Salford indie pop duo The Ting Tings played to a crowded King Tuts Wah Wah Tent on Sunday (July 13th) with thousands left outside the packed tent.

Almost a half hour before the band took to the stage the tent was already bulging at the seams, and huge queues of fans formed around the tent in an attempt to gain a glimpse of the group.

The Ting Tings began their set with an extended drum intro from Jules De Martino before Katie White began singing recent single “Great DJ” to an ecstatic crowd reaction. The thousands crammed into the tent began the chanting the lyrics so loudly that the band themselves were almost totally drowned out.

The short set finished with recent hit “That’s Not My Name”, with the Ting Tings leaving the stage to a euphoric crowd reaction.
