Tindersticks Cancel London Residency

Over health concerns

Tindersticks have decided to cancel their upcoming residency in London’s Soho Theatre.

Returning with new album ‘The Something Else’, Tindersticks organised a four night residency in London. Taking place in Soho Theatre, tickets for the show were soon snapped up by concert starved fans.

However in a statement this afternoon (February 22nd) Tindersticks announced that the residency would be cancelled. The statement reads:

Tindersticks are sad to announce that they have been forced to postpone their 4 nights of shows in London’s Soho Theatre due to a highly unlikely recurrence of Stuart Staples’ laryngitis from last year. Stuart is currently undergoing intense treatment and a series of medical examinations to ensure that this is no more than an unfortunate coincidence.

We are currently working closely with Soho Theatre to reschedule the events as soon as possible and will be sending out information on that as soon as possible.

We would like to apologise profusely for any inconvenience caused to everybody who was due to be attending these shows and hope that we will be able to play for you very soon.
