Theme Park are set to play a one off show in London on January 10th alongside Cloud Boat and NZCA / LINES.
It’s cold outside – damn cold. Up in Scotland, ClashMusic HQ is being battered by gale force winds and lashing rain. However for our London friends we offer the following…
Hotly tipped indie boffins Theme Park are set to play a one off show on January 10th. Fresh from the release of new single ‘Milk’ the band are riding high, and will pop by White Heat at Madame Jojos.
Set to preview material from their debut album, the Transgressive signed act have all the buoyant charm of a band who knew they’re on the rise.
Also set to perform are Cloud Boat, whose debut release on R&S tickled our fancy last year. Mixing beautiful songcraft with bewitching electronics, the band have an almost claustrophobic sound.
Capable of cutting it onstage and on record, Cloud Boat are set to drop by White Heat and will have a few surprises up their sleeve.
Elsewhere, the bill boasts an appearance by NZCA/LINES. Michael Lovett’s ongoing project, the singer matches a love of classic pop and slick R&B with a real sense of drama. Clearly reaching for the stars, the sheer ambition shown by Lovett is something to be admired.
New single ‘Okinawa Channels’ is due to be released on January 16th, and you can listen to the radio edit below…
