The xx are set to play a one off Manchester show at the Ritz on July 9th.
Bringing their Night + Day concerts to the UK, The xx recently played an enormous outdoor date at Hatfield House. Located just outside London, the band were joined by a superlative inducing support cast including Mount Kimbie, Solange and more.
Heading North, the band will play a three week residency at the Manchester International Festival. As a treat for fans, The xx have just announced a standalone headline show at the Ritz, taking place on July 9th.
In a short statement the group said: "At the end of the week we are moving to Manchester for a 3 weeks residency at the Manchester International Festival. We thought it would be nice to add a show for our fans who can't make it there. We will be playing a special show at the Ritz on July 9th. This will be the last date in the UK in support of Coexist. We hope to see you there! xx The xx".
