Brit mod legends The Who are set to perform a rare acoustic gig in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, at Arsenal Football Club’s annual charity ball.
The event will see Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey both take to the stage at the annual Legends And Youth Ball to play a set of Who classics acoustically.
As patron of Teenage Cancer Trust and a dedicated Arsenal fan, the show will be a celebratory occasion for frontman Daltrey, who regularly attends and plays at events to raise money for the Charity.
Also set to appear on the night is recent Clash Magazine star VV Brown – who recently featured in our Clash Track Of The Day with her cover of ‘This Charming Man’ (you can also check out our full pictures gallery of VV HERE).
Speaking of the show, Daltrey added “We’re both honoured to be playing at the Legends And Youth Ball to celebrate Arsenal’s fantastic support of Teenage Cancer Trust throughout this season. I have been fighting for this cause for many years and I’m thrilled that this partnership has made and will continue to make a huge difference to young people with cancer.”
