Mississippi tearaways The Weeks hit UK soil this week for their latest tour of the island.
The five-piece, who were discovered by Kings Of Leon and signed to their Serpents & Snakes Records, arrive in support of their forthcoming EP.
'Buttons', which will be available digitally in February, also marks the seventh anniversary of the band. It includes two old songs re-visited and re-recorded ('Buttons', a firm fan favourite, was the first song they wrote together) alongside two brand new compositions.
It's a welcome taster of things to come, as the follow-up to their 2013 debut album, 'Dear Bo Jackson', is promised this spring.
Originally from Jackson, The Weeks met at school, and bonded over a passion for grungy, southern guitar rock. Their energy and determination saw them build a formidable soulful sound and devoted fanbase, and upon relocating to Nashville, caught the attention of the Followills, who now claim The Weeks as their unofficial little brothers.
Expect an evening of blazing riffs, heavy grooves, and lots and lots of hair.
