Set is switched after fans cram into Clash Arena

The View have been given another slot at RockNess after their set at the Clash Arena was pulled due to safety fears.

Love them or loathe them, The View know how to put on a show - and their fans love them for it. The Dundonian group are inching towards their new album, and arranged a RockNess show as a special preview.

Not far from the band's spiritual heartland, fans from across Scotland and beyond travelled to RockNess yesterday to catch their set. Taking place in the Clash Arena, The View emerged to enormous cheers from the packed tent.

However the sheer volume of fans took organisers by surprise, and - with safety remaining paramount - the raucous set was cut short after just four songs.

Offered another set at the Highland festival, The View graciously accepted. Set to play RockNess once more later today, the band have organised a 5.40pm slot at the Goldenvoice Arena.

Watch out for more RockNess coverage as it comes in...
