The Vaccines have announced plans for their biggest set of UK headline shows yet.
Love them or loathe them, The Vaccines have got people talking in a way few British guitar groups have for some time. To their fans, the band are a high octane mixture of spiky riffs and rousing songwriting.
To their detractors, the band are an irrelevance devoid of any kind of groundbreaking mentality. Releasing their debut album earlier this year, The Vaccines could still have the last laugh.
‘What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?’ delighted fans with its big, dumb riffs and Ramones style chanting. Having sold over 100,000 copies so far, the album has become a sleeper hit.
Set to support Arctic Monkeys on their upcoming arena tour, The Vaccines are also set to play a host of festival this summer. Making appearances across the country, the band will move into Autumn with a series of headline shows.
The venue capacities are creeping up, with the upcoming shows due to become their largest headline shows yet.
Running throughout November and December, the tour opens in Newcastle. Taking place on November 21st, the headline date will be followed by shows in Sheffield, Lincoln, Manchester and more.
