London-based events crew The Playground are putting on quite the soiree on August 16th, bringing Derrick May to Camden’s KOKO to top a bill best described as: attentions-piquing.
The Michigan techno legend is joined on the night by A Guy Called Gerald (live), Barem, Richard Fearless of Death In Vegas, French Kiwi Juice (live), Let The Machines Do The Work and Last Magpie.
Got all that? Good stuff. Tickets are a tenner advance from right here.
The Playground’s been away from what used to be called The Camden Palace for a wee while, but this bill represents the beginning of what is sure to be a thrilling return to its old haunt. House fans, techno fans, you know where to keep these eyes: The Playground’s site is here.
Bit of classic Derrick May right now, to tide you over…
