The National To Curate ATP

Their only UK show of 2012...

The National are set to curate this December’s instalment of All Tomorrow’s Parties.

For so long a group enjoyed only by a lucky few, ‘High Violet’ seemed to propel The National into wider consciousness. Headlining Latitude last summer, it was incredible to witness so many people going batshit crazy to ‘Mr November’.

Set to take it easy during 2012, The National have agreed to curate this December’s instalment of All Tomorrow’s Parties. Apparently the band’s sole performance in British soil this year, ATP will run between December 7th – 9th.

The National will take responsibility for the weekend’s activities, including programming the cinema and overseeing the book club.

However the live music will hold the most attention. Joining The National will be indie types such as Wye Oak, The Antlers, Dark Dark and Owen Pallett. The more left field choices include Boris, returning Baltimore group Lower Dens and more.

The line up as it currently stands:

The National
Kronos Quartet
The Antlers
Owen Pallett
Boris
Tim Hecker
Sharon Van Etten
My Brightest Diamond
Wye Oak
Lower Dens
Megafaun
Suuns
Dark Dark Dark
Buke and Gase
