Los Angeles’ favourite experimental disco-punks The Mae Shi are set to return to the UK in May, before retreating to record the follow-up to last year’s alt pop roller-coaster ‘HLLLYH’.
Unleashing a staggering three albums in as many years, The Mae Shi started out as a less serious proposition, offering to play any wedding, birthday party or bar mitzvah in their early days.
Their most complete effort to date, ‘HLLLYH’ saw the band break through, with the bar mitzvah shows currently being put on hold for world tours.
