Brighton indie heroes The Maccabees are set to perform a one-off hometown show as part of the Gaymers Grassroots series at The Great Escape.
Aimed at bringing fans up close and personal with six of the biggest bands around, The Maccabees will return to their hometown of Brighton for the intimate show on the 15th May. All acts are encouraged to play a venue close to their hearts, often returning to play venues they played in their days.
Other acts taking part are Starsailor, who are set to return to Wigan for an acoustic set, with The Zutons set to hit Liverpool and fiddle-punks The Holloways London.
Having just returned with their second album ‘Wall Of Arms’, The Maccabees’ return will see them airing their new material in the City that birthed them (read all about their new album in a recent Clash Music interview HERE).
Listings for each event are expected to appear on all band’s sites prior to the gigs.
