The Libertines To Play Hyde Park

As part of British Summer Time

Though time, tide and infamy may wash against its bow, the good ship Albion continues to entice those in search of a sea-faring life.

With their slim – a mere two albums – discography reaching its tenth anniversary, The Libertines continue to inspire. Over the Easter weekend the band placed an image of Hyde Park on their Facebook page, prompting all manner of speculation.

Now, The Libertines have showed their hand. The seminal group will reform for a one off London show, headlining the second night of British Summer Time.

The band's first performance since their celebrated Reading & Leeds jaunt in 2010, The Libertines will be joined by the likes of The Pogues, Spiritualized, Maximo Park, The Enemy, Swim Deep, Reverend And The Makers, Wolf Alice and more.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on May 2nd.

So it's true: The Libertines will play Hyde Park on July 5th. Clash will be there… but will you? Join in the discussion on our Twitter feed!
